Show Summary: Could Doc Lures Be The Christmas Grinch?
G’day ALF listeners! Well, since Wednesday this week also happens to be Xmas Day 2019 I thought I’d depart from the usual ALF format and just have a light hearted chat about Xmas through the eyes of a crusty, cynical old lure fisho.
Why even have a Xmas Day episode? Well, I have to admit, I very nearly didn’t. After all, I knew a lot of regular listeners might have other priorities on this particular day. And everyone’s super busy right now, it’s been a real struggle to find times when guests were available to interview.
But I kind of liked the idea of maintaining the momentum of an unbroken run of 3 episodes per week. Plus it was an opportunity to have a bit of fun and share some of my personal life with my listeners in a (hopefully) comical way. So this episode is a bit of a ramble about my views on Xmas, a few coping strategies thrown in and some tips for getting things working they way you want them to work.
